6 Sentence Fiction:
The Pain of War
This war left me scarred and broken. It left me torn and unfixable. My comrades, whom have grown to be my new family, have died beside me as gunshots fire everywhere at any given point of the day. We are slowly surrounded and there is no hope to live because we are trapped. My thoughts now lead me to the worst, and not knowing whether to live by comrades or grovel in my own demise, I feel the heavy weight of the gun in my hands that is grounding me. Locked and loaded, I aim and fire.
Great!! I love the emotion and sentiment in this piece and I love the setting.
